A great home office is not about the gear; it's about the ergonomics. A monitor at eye level, a chair that supports your lumbar spine, and a keyboard tray at elbow height will outlast every fad.
Start with the desk. A sit-stand desk is worth the premium if you'll actually use the stand mode; otherwise a solid fixed desk at the right height is better than a wobbly motorized one.
Next, the monitor. A single 27" or 32" 4K display is usually better than two 24" displays — less neck rotation, more pixels where your eyes are.
Finish with lighting. A key light behind your monitor prevents eye strain; a warm floor lamp balances the tone of video calls. Natural light beats everything else.
